Class Schedules

National AM Class

Time: 9am-1pm
11 classes total
Monday-Thursday for 3 weeks

National PM Class

Time: 6pm-10pm
11 classes total
Monday-Thursday for 3 weeks

National WKD Class

Time: 8am-4:30pm
6 classes total – *Last class from 8:00-12:30
Saturdays for 6 weeks

Class Structure
  1. The course consists of 44 hours in-class training. This includes bookwork, intensive hands-on training, and practical examination.

  2. On the last day of class, students can choose to challenge the National Exam. When passed, this exam certifies students to work anywhere in the country.*States such as California, Nevada, Louisiana and Washington have additional licensing requirements.

  3. PTS has a “Student for Life” policy. After full completion of the course, students are welcomed back in the classroom at any time (depending on class availability) to brush up on their skills, review material, and perform additional blood draws.

Prerequisites
  1. Must be 18 years or older.

  2. Must be a High School graduate or equivalent thereof. We will ask for proof of this.

  3. Previous experience is NOT required.

Payment Information

At PTS, we understand that each person has a unique set of circumstances, and we want students to find a payment option that works for them!

Payment Policies

Our payment plan works by requiring ONLY the deposit to register and secure a seat in class. Students will then have from the day they pay the deposit up until halfway through their class to pay their remaining balance.

We offer our students the freedom to decide when they would like to make payments. Payments can be made conveniently online with any major credit card at any time through the Student Portal, or over the phone with Student Services.

Other Options?

  • Students may apply for financing upon request, this can be done by calling Student Services at 701-404-9434.
  • We allow students to register up to 3 months in advance. This allows students to make incremental payments before their classes begin.
  • If you get in a bind, no problem! Our student services are open six days a week to discuss available options for extension at 844-931-1348.

Financial Aid and Government Funds

Because we are a private institution, we DO NOT accept financial aid, however, we DO accept vouchers from third-party payers who are willing to pay for private education.

Prerequisites:

The Tennessee Higher Education Commission rule 1540-01-02.12 and 1540-01-02.15 requires students prior to commencement of class to submit an official transcript from the high school, GED score sheet from the appropriate issuing entity, or an official military document indicating that the student completed high school such as an Enlisted Record Brief. This must come directly from the issuing institution or agency. Paper transcripts printed on security sensitive paper and must contain the issuing institution’s seal or signature of an official from the institution. Electronic transcripts or scores sheets are also acceptable if sent from the issuing institution.

Credits earned at Phlebotomy Training Specialists may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by Phlebotomy Training Specialists. You should obtain confirmation that Phlebotomy Training Specialists will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at Phlebotomy Training Specialists to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at Phlebotomy Training Specialists prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from Phlebotomy Training Specialists to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at Phlebotomy Training Specialists if you enroll in another educational institution.
