What to Expect
In Class and Online
Throughout the 76-hour program, you will complete 48 hours of in-class, instructor-led learning, which includes
approximately 24 hours of hands-on training. The remaining 28 hours of core anatomy learning are completed online.
On your first day in class, you will meet your instructor and receive a textbook for guided study. On the final day, you
will demonstrate your blood-drawing skills during an in-class practical exam.
Florida’s online Basic Healthcare Worker training requirement can be completed before, during, or after our 76-hour
program.
After Class
After completing your class, you’ll be prepared to take your national certification exam. Our career resources can help guide your entry into the workforce, and with our Student for Life Promise, you can always return to your original campus to freshen up your skills for free.

Instructors are very helpful and make the environment easy to learn in. Belinda provided a lot of extra insight into her personal experience and made the class enjoyable.

Marc was a very patient and supportive Phlebotomy instructor. He made sure we all understood the course material while also reenforcing important techniques. He made the class fun! He presented the information in a straight forward and excitable approach. 10/10 Definitely recommend this class!

Was nervous at first but my classmates were very kind and my teacher Mark Souza was very funny and welcoming, I learned a lot from my teacher and can’t wait to use my skills in the real world. Loved the class!!

I was a part of the Saturday/Weekend course with Miss Tee, and I honestly had an amazing experience! Miss Tee went above and beyond to provide us with the support and help needed to succeed in the course and to prepare us for a job in any setting. If you’re on the fence about taking this course I would absolutely encourage you to take it in the morning or on weekends with Miss Tee!
